About This Resort
Joy Island is a 60-villa all-inclusive resort in North Malé Atoll, 40 minutes by speedboat. The plan covers meals, drinks and water sports, and snorkelling gear and kayaks are free. Every villa has a pool, from 80 sqm Garden Pool Villas to the Family Beach Pool Villa for four, and the house reef is rich in coral and reef fish. It's a good fit for couples who want all-inclusive without a big, busy resort.
✦ Why Vola Recommends This Resort
Joy Island hits a sweet spot: boutique size with all-inclusive value. For couples who want overwater luxury and freedom from surprise bills, but don't need 200 villas and 10 restaurants, Joy Island delivers exactly the right balance. Consistent and reliable.
